mushrooms part one
Did you know mushrooms are more related to humans and other members of the animal kingdom? Yes, they r part of the fungi kingdom but being more closely related to us is due to the fact many of their compounds they produce show physiological activity in humans as well as other animals.
These compounds offer significant health benefits not only to us as they use themselves to their advantage in competition with other micro organisms for food and resources . These properties hold anti microbial activity , either as antibiotics or antifungal agents.
The majority of the compounds are polysaccharides based typically with protein component. One way to interpret immune benefits is the binding of mushroom polysaccherides to difficult immune receptors triggering widespread immunological change with increased activity I’m immune cells. This in return encourages the immune response to pathogenetic fungi, microorganisms, or cancer cells.
I'm all over including mushrooms into my daily intake. Current, I drinking it as a coffee substitute, but I don't really enjoy the taste at all. I'll finish what I purchased but I'm looking for effective alternatives.
